Teaching

I served as an Assistant in Instruction at Princeton for 11 semesters across introductory through advanced physics courses, twice receiving the Department Teaching Excellence Award.

“He provoked us to think beyond the scope of the experiment to become fully engaged with what we were supposed to learn.”
“Patient and clear-spoken teaching, and he kept the energy of the lab up. His explanations were always great.”
“Brad was excellent, knew when to assist and when to be hands off, and spent a bit of time each session with a mini lecture relating to experimental physics, which convinced me that experiments are actually useful.”
“Brad was an excellent instructor who both explained concepts very well and encouraged creative problem-solving and critical thinking.”

Caribbean Outreach

Most students in the Caribbean write exams offered by the Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC). While study material exists, much of it is not freely accessible—and what is freely accessible is rarely tailored to Caribbean syllabi. With a group of collaborators, I co-authored open study guides for the CAPE Applied Mathematics examination.
